The incident caused panic at the scene, and people immediately informed the police. The police arrived promptly and, without waiting for a rescue team, rescued the young man from the rubble with the help of the locals and admitted him to the hospital for treatment, where he is currently receiving care.

According to reports, the incident occurred in the CSEB Colony of Old Bhilai. The wall of a dilapidated building suddenly collapsed, trapping a young man under the debris. The incident caused chaos in the entire area. Upon receiving the information, Station House Officer Ambar Singh Bhardwaj, along with police constables Bunty Singh and Poshan Sahu, immediately rushed to the spot. Without waiting for a rescue team, they rescued the young man from the rubble with the help of the local residents. Due to the unavailability of an ambulance, the Station House Officer carried the injured young man to the vehicle.

SHO Bhardwaj stated that the injured young man has been identified as Amar Maya Piya, a resident of Atal Niwas. He sustained serious injuries to his leg, including a fracture. The prompt action of the police saved the young man’s life. Everyone is praising the promptness and sensitivity shown by the Old Bhilai police station in this incident.
