A 6-year-old girl who went to her grandmother’s house for holidays died in a bomb explosion

Tamil Nadu: A 6-year-old girl who had gone to her grandmother’s house to celebrate Pongal holidays in Dharmapuri district died in a bomb blast. It is customary to keep the firecrackers bought for Diwali if they remain and burst them on festivals like Karthikai Deepam and New Year. Flammable substances and explosives like firecrackers should not be kept inside the house. Similarly, the fire department and the police department are constantly raising awareness that these should not be kept in places where children can easily reach. However, people keep the leftover firecrackers inside their homes, sometimes leading to accidents and deaths.

In the same connection, a 6-year-old girl who had gone to her grandmother’s house to celebrate Pongal holidays in Dharmapuri district died in a bomb blast.

A 6-year-old girl named Kavinila from Attukaranpatti in Dharmapuri district had gone to her grandmother’s house in Karimangalam for Pongal holidays. It is said that at that time the grandmother was playing on a sack placed on the edge of the wall on the roof of the house. It is said that the sack contained the leftover country made crackers bought for Diwali. The country made crackers exploded due to friction. In this the girl Kavinila died on the spot due to the loss of one of her hands and suffered serious chest injuries.

A part of the wall around the roof also collapsed in the accident. The incident of the death of a girl who had gone with her family for Pongal holidays due to a landmine explosion has created tragedy in the area.
