Drug smuggler arrested during blockade on Haryana UP border, 960 drug capsules recovered
Yamunanagar: Anti Narcotic Cell team has arrested Ankit, resident of Safipur village of Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, on charges of drug smuggling. The accused has been taken on remand for two days. The accused was smuggling banned medicines for the last three months. Incharge Ravikant said that his team got secret information that a young man would come out from near Hathnikund Park with banned medicines.
The team reached the spot, blocked it and started checking the vehicles. After some time a young man was seen coming on a bike. When the youth caught in front was searched, banned medicines were recovered from him. When the drug controller came to the spot and examined the seized medicines, it was revealed that 960 capsules of Tramadol were found from the accused.
