The universal spirit of Amman should spread across the world: Governor Ravi

Tamil Nadu: Tamil Nadu Governor R.N. Ravi said that Ayya Vaikundar’s Akilathirattu Ammanai should be printed in all languages and distributed worldwide.
On the occasion of Ayya Vaikundar’s 185th incarnation day, the International Ayya Pathikal Federation and the Thamaraikulam Pathik Guru Trust jointly organized the inaugural ceremony of the Akilathirattu Ammanai Udaya Din Yatra on Sunday.
Governor R.N. Ravi attended the event as a special invitee at the Ayya Vaikundar Dharmapathi in Manali New Town, Chennai, and flagged off the Yatra.
He then said: Maha Vishnu has taken many incarnations to eradicate unrighteousness. Our country and society were under British rule. They imposed their policies on us and oppressed the people. It was during such difficult times that Ayya Vaikundar incarnated. Ayya Vaikundar continued to preach for a society without discrimination. He taught that even though we all differ in many ways, such as language, food habits, and clothing, we should all live together like a family, like the roots, branches, and leaves of a tree, without any discrimination.
The book “Akilathirattu Ammanai,” which Ayya Vaikunthara taught 170 years ago, should be disseminated so that common people and school students can know it. He said that since his teachings are common to people all over the world, it should be translated and published not only in Indian languages but also in international languages.
The event was attended by P. Duraipaazham, Chairman of Ayya Vaikunthara Dharmapuri, R. Ramalingam, Pilgrimage Administrator, Chundhararaja Pandian, R. Saravanan, and Dr. D. Evans. The pilgrimage, which began on Sunday (November 30), will cover 1,008 locations, including Kanyakumari and Samithopa, and will conclude in Dwarka, Gujarat, on December 13.
