Janjgir-Champa. Police have arrested 7 accused, including a minor child, in the case of uploading obscene photos and videos of women and minor children on social media in the district. This action has been taken by the district police on the basis of complaints received from the National Crime Records Bureau. Police have arrested all the accused from different police station areas.
On the information of Cyber Cell Janjgir, 2 accused have been arrested from Champa police station of Janjgir-Champa district, 2 accused from City Kotwali Janjgir and 4 accused from Akaltara police station. Action has been taken against all these accused under Section 67B of the IT Act.
In this case, Parmeshwar Kahra (45 years) resident of Dhurkot police station Janjgir, Pradeep Kumar Nishad (23 years) resident of Mulmula police station, Anil Kumar (31 years) resident of Akaltara police station, Vidyut Vishwas (50 years) resident of Mulmula police station, Motilal Dewangan (25 years) resident Sanjay. Nagar police station Champa, Nilesh Nishad (19 years) of police station Champa, Sukh Sagar Kaspay (23 years) of police station Akaltara and a child struggling with the law are included.
