60 sacks of illegal paddy were being loaded in the pickup, food department took action

Raigarh. On the guidance of Senior Superintendent of Police Shri Sadanand Kumar, the team of police station, outpost and cyber cell is active in prohibiting illegal paddy from the state of Odisha in the district. In the same sequence, the Cyber Cell team received information from the informer yesterday that paddy was loaded in a pickup from Pachgaon, Orissa and was leaving for Raigarh Loing via the village. Senior officials were informed about the information, on the instructions of senior officials, a team of Cyber Cell and Chakradharnagar Police was prepared and left for action in the night itself. Informers were deployed by the police team on Loing main road and surrounding roads.An Orissa Passing pickup vehicle covered with tarpaulin was stopped at the blockade on Loing main road this morning. On checking the vehicle, the tractor was loaded with 60 bags of paddy, total weight being 26 quintals.

Vehicle driver Sagar Satnami, father Narhari Satnami, age 32 years, resident of Panchgaon Jhadu Para police station Rengli district Jharsuguda (Orissa) was informed to the Food Department by station in-charge Chakradhar Municipal Inspector Prashant Rao Aher for not giving any satisfactory answer regarding paddy. On the spot, a tractor carrying illegal paddy was handed over to Food Inspector Sanjit Bhagat. The Food Department is taking advance action against illegal paddy. Police station in-charge Chakradharnagar Inspector Prashant Rao Aher, Food Inspector Sanjeet Bhagat, Head Constable Satish Pathak, Shyam Dev Sahu and Cyber Cell Head Constable Rajesh Patel, Constable Mahesh Panda, Pushpendra Jatwar and Vikram Singh have played a special role in the action against illegal paddy.
