Durg. Two accused from Durg district have been arrested in the ganja smuggling case in Rajnandgaon district. Both the accused are residents of Kohka and Avantibai Chowk under Supela police station. 6 kg of ganja worth about Rs 90 thousand has been seized from the accused. Among the accused, the name of one has been mentioned as Kishan Nishad and the other as Dinesh Janghel. Actually, Rajnandgaon police got the news from the informer that the accused Sachin was passing through the bike carrying ganja near village Saloni. After this, Ghumka police surrounded and arrested him with 2 kg of ganja. During interrogation of Sachin, it was revealed that Kundan Nirmalkar had supplied ganja to him. After this the police arrested Kundan from near Nagpura in Durg district.
When Kundan was interrogated, it was revealed that Dinesh Janghel and Kishan Nishad of Kohka Bhilai sell ganja to him. After this, Rajnandgaon police surrounded and arrested Dinesh and Kishan from Chikhali Road in Durg district. Police have seized two kilos of ganja each from both of them. Police interrogation revealed that both were smuggling ganja for a long time. They also used to supply from nearby Supela. Rajnandgaon police arrested both the accused and two kilos of ganja was also recovered from them. Two other accused, Sachin Maithil Kshatriya (19), resident of Jalbandha and Kundan Nirmalkar (24), resident of Ghumka, have also been arrested in the case.
