BYD has launched the updated Seal in India. The 2025 BYD Seal gets multiple features and that includes an updated suspension. The new BYD Seal now costs Rs 41 lakh (ex-showroom). The 2025 model of BYD Atto 3 electric SUV has also been updated.
The updated BYD Seal has received a price hike of Rs 15,000. However, price of the base Dynamic RWD variant remains unchanged. It still costs Rs 41 lakh. On the other hand, the Premium RWD and performance AWD variants cost Rs 45.70 lakh and Rs 53.15 lakh respectively.
2025 BYD Seal gets Frequency Selective Dampers (FSD) in the mid-spec Premium variant. Earlier the feature was reserved for top Performance trim. On the other hand, the performance variant gets a DiSuS-C system that improves suspension on bad roads as well as during cornering, acceleration and braking. The Seal also gets a powered sunshade which was not present earlier. The sunshade will be a relief during the summer season. The Wireless Apple CarPlay as well as Android Auto is offered as standard. The car also gets a new Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) low-voltage battery. It is claimed to be six times lighter than a regular lead acid battery and will offer a lifespan of 15 years.
Similarly, the latest edition of Atto 3 gets three-tone interior along with ventilated front seats. The BYD Atto 3 gets a new Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) that is also offered in the Seal sedan.
On the other hand, BYD will be offering first 3000 units of MY2025 Atto 3 from Rs 24.99 lakh. The base variant is a 49.92kWh Dynamic variant. On the other hand, the Premium and Superior variants, cost Rs 29.85 lakh and Rs 33.99 lakh respectively (both prices are ex-showroom, India).
