Ujjain. A 12 year old child died on Sunday due to China door. He was flying a kite with a china string on the roof of the house. The kite got stuck in the electric DP installed outside the house. While pulling the kite, a sudden fault occurred and the child got electrocuted. Relatives took him to the district hospital for immediate treatment. Here the doctor declared him dead. Police said that Alfej son Javed (12 years), resident of Begambagh, was flying a kite with a China string on the roof of the house on the occasion of Makar Sankranti festival on Sunday.
The kite got entangled in the DP installed near the house. As soon as Alfez pulled the string to take out the kite, there was a fault in the electrical wires installed in the DP and Alfez got electrocuted, due to which he fell down. Relatives took him to the district hospital for treatment. Here the doctor declared him dead. After this the relatives went back with the dead body. The hospital staff had given this information to the police control room and Mahakal police. On receiving the information, the police reached Begambagh and counseled the relatives.
After this the body was again brought to the district hospital. After the post-mortem of the dead body, the body will be handed over to the relatives. There is a ban on the use of China string in kite flying. The police had been visiting kite shops for the last 15 days and checking Chinese kites. Apart from this, bonds were also made to be filled by the shop operators for not selling China Door. It was also said that a case will be registered under Section 307 against those selling and using China Door. Police were keeping an eye on drone cameras and binoculars for three days. This was also being investigated by going to the rooftops. Despite this, China Door was used on Sunday.
Even the strictness of the police could not stop the use of China Door. The result was that a child in Begambagh got electrocuted by a china door and died. Metallic thread is used in Chinese doors. A person using a China door may get electrocuted by touching electrical wires. In this regard, the Railway Administration had also issued a warning not to use China Door around the railway line. An 11th class student has lost her life due to China Door. On January 15, 2022, student Neha Anjana was passing through the Zero Point bridge on a two-wheeler. At the same time, a Chinese manjha got stuck in Neha’s neck. Neha died after her jugular vein was cut.
