11 accused arrested in gang rape case of two minors

Ranchi : Eleven youths have been arrested on charges of gang rape of two minor girls in Bagdu police station area in Lohardaga district of Jharkhand. He was sent to jail on Monday. This incident took place on Saturday evening when two girls were returning home after a birthday party in Senha police station area. When the girls stopped at one place due to rain, a group of youth caught them, took them with them and gang-raped them. The condition of one of these girls became critical.
When some local people got information about this, they caught three-four youths who committed the crime and handed them over to the police. Police reached the spot and admitted the victim to the hospital. Within two days, the police arrested all the 11 accused by conducting raids in Bagdu and Choragain. Local villagers had also demonstrated against the incident on Sunday evening.
