Mumbai (IANS) | Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar, known for films like ‘Gully Boy’, ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ and ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’, is all set for her new streaming series ‘Dahad’. He has co-produced it with his collaborator Reema Kagti. Zoya told IANS: “When you co-write or co-produce a project, the most important thing is to have a shared set of values. Your value system should be the same, then only you will be able to do complete justice. for your story. When you get an idea, things start coming to you naturally. Then it’s up to you to decide what goes in the frame and what stays out.”

Zoya, who is also the producer of the series, said she finds her strength in creative production.

She added, “My strength lies more in creative production. I can get the cast and crew together and work towards what the final output will look like, but with respect to the budget and logistics that would be expected of a regular producer.” Well, I would say it’s not my strongest area.”

Dahad will be available to stream on Prime Video from 12th May.
