Zeenat Aman, one of the glamorous actresses of the seventies and eighties, is very active on social media these days and is constantly interacting with her fans. Zeenat shares old pictures from the album of her memories and also tells some stories with them. Sometimes she talks motivational through her posts. One such picture was posted by Zeenat on Monday.
In this years old picture, both sons Jahan and Azaan are seen in his lap. Along with this, Zeenat has given some tips for parenting by writing a long note. In the post, she told that there is no such guidebook in the world, which can tell you about the preparations for parenthood.
‘My priority was my children’
Sharing her experience, Zeenat writes – When my children were born, they became my only priority. As a single mother of two boys, I felt more responsible for my children. More than anything else, I wanted to protect them and raise them to be kind and loving people.
Zeenat further writes that she gets very angry at people who reject their children on the basis of sexual orientation, choice of partner or their choice of profession. We should see our children as separate individuals and help them.
‘Enjoy the childhood of children’
Zeenat further says that both my boys are now in their thirties and now it seems that before I could even breathe, their childhood was gone. So, some words of wisdom for new parents, enjoy every moment with your kids and don’t beat yourself up over the little things. Some plate got broken, some teacher wrote a note… the world doesn’t end with all this. We do not expect perfection from our children, but give them love, support and guidance.
Regarding this picture, Zeenat told that it was taken in 1990, when Jahaan was not even a year old and Azaan was three years old. This photo was clicked by Gautam Rajadhyaksha, a legendary photograph from the industry. The place was- Hotel Searock in Bandra, which is now over.
