Mumbai: Chat show ‘Aapka Apna Zakir’ host Zakir Khan has recalled his first meeting with actress Kritika Kamra and how her mother reacted in a funny way when she found out about their meeting.
The star cast of investigative drama ‘Gyaarah Gyaarah’ featuring Kritika, Raghav Juyal and Dhairya Karwa in the lead roles was present in the new episode. They shared some interesting anecdotes from their lives and shooting experiences.
In a candid chat, Zakir said: “A few years ago, I didn’t know about Kritika because when her show was at its peak — I had moved out of the house and didn’t know what was happening on a television show.”
He said, “Then I met Kritika, as she used to do comedy. I was planning an event and thought I could include Kritika with me. I was surprised by the overwhelming response from the audience, where people kept calling her ‘Arohi’. When I told my mother about it, she jokingly said, ‘Why would she meet and talk to you? She is a big star.'”
For those who don’t know, Kritika played the role of Arohi in the 2009 TV show ‘Kitani Mohabbat Hai’. It also featured Karan Kundrra in the lead role.
