Recently, a man named Mikhail Viktorovich Polyakov, who runs a YouTube travel channel called Neo Orientalist, illegally entered the Sentinelese islands. He entered in a small boat for nine hours and spent five minutes there. He put a Diet Coke in a coconut shell there. Moreover, he made a video of all this and posted it on his YouTube channel. If the people there drink it, it will be very dangerous for this tribe. Because their eating habits are different. They do not eat the food that we usually eat. Giving them Diet Coke like that is like putting them in danger.
This can also lead to infections. All this happened last year and he was arrested. He is currently in police custody. He was detained on the grounds that he tried to harm the tribe. In this regard, he applied for bail in the Port Blair court, but the court rejected it. In this context, he is scheduled to appear in court on the 29th of this month. If the full investigation is completed and Polyakov is found guilty, he has a chance of being sentenced to five years in prison.
