Mumbai: A deepfake video of YouTube sensation and actor Bhuvan Bam is going viral on social media. Bam has alerted his fans about this. In this deepfake video, Bhuvan is urging people to invest in tennis through a bookmaker. Bhuvan alerted the fans and said, “I want to alert all my fans and followers about a deepfake video of mine which is going viral on social media. This video is completely fake, in which people are being asked to invest in tennis through a bookmaker.”
Bhuvan’s team took immediate action regarding the deepfake video and lodged a complaint at Oshiwara Police Station in Mumbai. The police is currently investigating the matter. Bhuvan further said, ”My team has already lodged a complaint at Oshiwara Police Station, and they are investigating the matter. I request everyone not to fall prey to this video. Please stay safe and avoid making any investment that may cause trouble or financial loss. It is very important to be cautious and not fall prey to these fraudsters.”
Born in Gujarat, Bhuvan Bam’s real name is ‘Bhuvan Avninendra Shankar Bam’. Apart from being a comedian, he is also a writer, singer, songwriter. He started his internet career as a news reporter. He started his career with a video mocking a reporter who asked an insensitive question to a woman who lost her son in the Kashmir floods. The video went viral on social media. This video gave Bhuvan the idea of creating a YouTube channel and he created his own YouTube channel in 2015. He released his first music video ‘Teri Meri Kahani’ in 2016. He became popular among the people through songs like ‘Sang Hoon Tere’, ‘Safar’, ‘Rahguzar’ and ‘Ajnabee’.
He started a new digital series called ‘Titu Talks’ on YouTube in 2018. Shah Rukh Khan became the first guest in it. After him, stars like Ram Charan, Jr NTR and SS Rajamouli joined as guests. ‘Titu Talks’ received tremendous response. He made his OTT debut with ‘Taza Khabar’ in 2023 and was also seen in Amazon Mini TV’s ‘Rafta Rafta’.
