Youth stabs brother-in-law to death in Odisha’s Bargarh

Bargarh: In a shocking incident a youth stabbed his brother-in-law to death in Bargarh district of Odisha yesterday night. The incident took place at the house of the accused person’s sister in Mangala Jhumpudi in ward no. 11 of Bargarh.

The accused person has been identified as Nipun Mahanand and the deceased has been identified as Shankar Das.

As per reports, Nipun somehow heard that his brother-in-law (husband of sister) is thrashing his sister. Being annoyed with this he ran to the house of his sister. There as he saw that his brother-in-law Shankar is thrashing his wife, he could not restrict himself and attacked with knife. As he stabbed Shankar, he died on the spot only. After committing the crime the accused fled from the scene.

After getting information Bargarh Town Police Station cops reached the spot and seized the body. Investigation of the case is underway while effort is being made to nab the culprit.
