Youth stabbed in Bibwewadi: Police arrested two

Maharashtra: Two youths were attacked with a knife due to a dispute in Bibvewadi area. Police have arrested two people on charges of attempted murder. The seriously injured person has been identified as Gaurav Rajesh Markad (age 24, resident of Upper Indiranagar, Bibvewadi). Saksham Bagde, Sagar Saroj have been arrested in this case. Gaurav Markad has lodged a complaint at Bibvewadi police station. According to the police, Gaurav had a dispute with the accused Sakham and Sagar. The accused called Gaurav and his friend to Shivtej Krida Sangh Chowk in Upper Indiranagar at around 4.30 pm on Monday evening on the pretext of resolving the dispute. After this, the accused attacked Gaurav and his friend with a knife.

Two people were seriously injured in the attack by the accused. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police visited the spot. The police arrested the absconding accused Saksham and Sagar. Police Inspector Manoj Kumar Londhe is investigating the case.

An incident of attempted murder of a youth by stabbing him with a knife took place in Manjhari area over a land ownership dispute. A case was registered against 33 people in this case. Mahesh Ramdas Ghule (age 36, resident of I Building, Manjhari Budruk) has lodged a complaint at Hadapsar police station. According to the complaint lodged by him, a case has been registered against 33 people. According to the police, there was a dispute between Ghule and some of his relatives over land ownership. Due to the dispute, they attacked complainant Ghule’s brother Akshay Ramdas Ghule (age 28 years) at around 10 pm on Sunday night. Gaja beat him badly. Akshay was seriously injured due to the beating. Assistant Police Inspector Umesh Rokde is investigating.
