Raipur. Rajkumar Tandon, accused of selling liquor illegally, has been arrested. Dharsiwa police had received information that a person was selling liquor illegally near village Neurodih Aangan Adil Para in Siltara. On which, under the direction of senior officers and under the leadership of outpost in-charge Siltara, the team of outpost Siltara police visited the place mentioned by the informer and found a person selling liquor illegally.
On which when the team members caught the person and interrogated him, the person revealed his name to be Rajkumar Tandon resident of Dharsimwa Raipur. When Rajkumar Tandon was asked for valid documents regarding the sale of liquor, he was continuously trying to mislead the team members by not presenting any kind of document. On which the accused Rajkumar Tandon was arrested and illegally kept from his possession 63 pauvas of country/English liquor and sale amount Jumla valued at about Rs 7,500/- and crime number 08/23 Section 34(2) Excise registered against the accused in police station Dharsiwa. The offense under the Act was registered and action was taken.
