Youth arrested for betting on IPL match in Khamhardih

Raipur. A young man has been arrested for betting on IPL match in Khamhardih. Under the guidance of SP Santosh Kumar Singh, continuous action is being taken to crack down on brothels, knife dealers and gambling in the police station area. In this sequence, on receiving telephone information on 11.04.2024 that a boy named Saurabh Mishra was found near Baniyan Tree, Indian Premier. The cricket match going on in the league is betting on the match between Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals.

On receiving the information, the accused Saurabh Mishra, father Sushil Mishra, 26 years of age, from Bhavani Nagar police station, Khamhardih Raipur, was in possession of 01 no. of Vivo company’s mobile whose IMEI number was 0-865227039753191, 65227039753184 in which Jio SIM was installed, worth Rs. 12000/-, 04 No. of mobile screen shot in which betting link REDDYCARE.IN and CRICBET99 was written, 01 no. of written copy of betting strip, 01 no. of dot pen, cash amount of Rs. 1420/-, total cash of Rs. 13420/- was seized in front of witnesses, the accused was arrested and sent to judicial custody. Sent on remand.
