Young Unmarried Adults in Japan Shun Parenthood, Says Report

Tokyo: The number of unmarried people in Japan is increasing day by day. 60 percent of unmarried adults under the age of 30 want to have children. This has been revealed in a recent survey. It has been learned that they do not want to have children due to financial difficulties and focus on career. This survey was recently conducted by a famous pharmacy company in that country. This survey was conducted online by Roto Pharmacy Company. Survey details were collected from unmarried women and men aged between 18 and 29 in December last year. The pharmacy company conducted this survey as part of pregnancy and family planning. The survey revealed that the number of people who do not want to have children reached 62.6 percent in 2025. However, compared to the 2020 survey, the number is estimated to have increased by 18 percent.
