Raigarh. Kotra Road police station in-charge Inspector Rakesh Mishra got information from the informer that village Gorkha R.K. Near the general store, a person is scaring people by waving a sword and threatening to kill, due to which people are very scared. On receiving the information, the police station in-charge immediately sent the staff along with the head constable of the police station, Karunesh Rai, to village Gorkha for action.
The police team saw a young man openly waving a sword in his hand in a public place in Gorkha. Seeing the police vehicle, the miscreant youth tried to escape in a white colored Dezire car, Kotra Road police team chased the vehicle and caught him, on interrogating the youth he gave his name as Monu Kushwaha (30) District Bhind (Madhya Pradesh) Present Agrasen Chowk. The accused was said to be a resident of Champa police station, district Janjgir Champa (Chhattisgarh), and an iron sword from his possession was seized and the accused was brought to Kotra Road police station. Action under Section 25, 27 Arms Act has been taken against accused Monu Kushwaha in Kotra Road police station.
