Young man found hanging in Janjgir

Janjgir. A youth committed suicide by hanging himself inside the house in Pisaud under City Kotwali police station of the district. The reason for committing suicide is not yet known. No suicide note has been found from the youth. Police have sent the body for post-mortem.

According to the information, the wife of the deceased had gone to her sister’s house. When the mother of the deceased asked to open the door, there was no response from inside. After this he went outside the house and looked through the window. On inspection it was found that Chhabi Lal had hanged himself.

The family members immediately informed the police, after which the police reached the spot. Police station in-charge Ashok Vaishnav told that Chhabi Lala Kevat, aged 27 years, used to work as a mason. Chhabi has hanged herself by using white safi as a rope from the miyar in her house. The police is investigating the matter.

Family members told that Chhabi Lal was addicted to drinking alcohol. At around 9 pm, Chhabi Lal’s mother asked him to have dinner, but he refused to eat. After this he closed the door of the room and went to sleep. Police have sent the body for post-mortem.
