Under the Rajasthan Youth Farmer Skill and Capacity Promotion announcement, young farmers of the district will be sent to other states to learn new farming techniques. Agriculture Department has invited applications from young farmers for this. Under the budget announcement of Chief Minister Shri Ashok Gehlot for 2023-24, young farmers will be sent to different states of the country to get information about new techniques of agriculture and animal husbandry. In which the farmers of the district will get study and training in hi-tech horticulture, food processing, advanced agriculture, milk production, fisheries, organic farming, water saving techniques. Along with this, young and progressive farmers below the age of 40 years will be sent for the excursion.
Farmers who have been engaged in agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry, fisheries or allied activities for at least three years or engaged in innovative agriculture or processing sector can apply. For this, young farmers can apply at E-Mitra Center or at their own level through Janadhaar on Raj Kisan Saathi Portal or Raj Kisan Suvidha Mobile App. Farmers will be taken on international farmer tour and interstate farmer tour in states like Gujarat, Maharashtra, Punjab, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi etc.
