UP. In view of the paper leak in Constable Recruitment Exam and RO-ARO exam in Uttar Pradesh, Yogi government has become strict. Yogi government has now brought UP Public Examination Ordinance 2024. Under this, if found guilty in paper leak, life imprisonment and a fine of Rs 1 crore will be imposed. This proposal has been approved by the Yogi Cabinet.
At the same time, if the examination is affected due to paper leak or other reasons, then the expenditure incurred on it will be compensated by recovering from the solver gang. Also, companies and service providers who commit irregularities in the examination will be blacklisted forever.
It is worth noting that during the Lok Sabha elections itself, CM Yogi Adityanath had talked about bringing a strict law to crack down on copying mafia. In this episode, now the government has taken a big step. In a press note, the government said that distributing fake question papers, creating fake employment websites etc. have also been made punishable offenses. For violation of the provisions of the Act, a provision has been made for a minimum punishment of two years to life imprisonment and a penalty of up to one crore rupees.
