Yellow alert issued for rain and snowfall in some high altitude areas

Shimla: The weather may worsen again in Himachal Pradesh from Monday. The Meteorological Department has issued a forecast of change in weather patterns due to western disturbance from March 11 to 14. Yellow alert for rain and snowfall has been issued for March 12 and 12.
There may be rain and snowfall in some middle and high altitude areas on Monday and Tuesday. On March 13, a forecast of rain, snowfall in most of the middle and high altitude areas and rain in lower areas has been issued. Rain is forecast in some middle and high altitude areas on March 14.
On Saturday, the lowest temperature in the state was recorded at -11.4 degrees in Kukamseri, while on Friday the maximum temperature was recorded at 25.2 degrees in Una. On Saturday, maximum temperature of Shimla was recorded 19 degrees, Dharamshala 20.4 degrees, Manali 25.5 degrees.
