Business Business : Yamaha India has unveiled the updated version of the RayZR Street Rally. It has received a new variant and an updated look. The ex-showroom price remains at Rs 98,130. This latest model is priced around Rs 2,000 higher than the previous version. A significant update is the new LED daytime running lights (DRL) above the license plate holder. In the Indian market, the Yamaha RAY ZR competes with the TVS Ntorq 125, Honda Dio 125 and Suzuki Avensis 125.
The RayZR Street Rally scooter comes with a ‘Talk Back’ feature that helps riders locate their scooter in crowded areas using flashing lights and an audible alarm. This feature can be accessed via the Wi-Connect app on a smartphone. Apart from this, the RayZR 125 Fi gets a new paint job called Cyber Green.
No mechanical changes have been made to this scooter. It has a 125cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 8.2 PS of power at 6500 rpm and 10.3 Nm of torque at 5000 rpm with hybrid assistance. The suspension consists of a telescopic fork and a monoshock absorber. Braking force is provided by a front disc and drum with UBS.
