Let us know about this product in detail.
Xiaomi has launched the smart Maoyan 2 doorbell camera in China. The new product is now available for purchase in the domestic market. Its price has been kept at 599 yuan (about Rs 7,000). At present, no official information has been shared regarding its launch in other global markets including India. The biggest feature of Maoyan 2 doorbell camera is its launch battery life. The company claims that the 8000mAh battery present in it lasts for 300 days in long-life mode. At the same time, in realtime viewing mode it will last for 150 days. The doorbell features a 3-megapixel high-definition camera with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 and HDR support.
It has a 180-degree wide-angle lens, which claims to cover a large area. It has eight 940nm infrared night lights. In addition, the doorbell is also equipped with a high-sensitivity sensor. When someone rings the doorbell, the accompanying 5-inch 720p high-definition display shows a real-time view of that person. It also has dual PIR human body infrared sensors, covering a large horizontal range of 180 degrees. The camera automatically starts recording as soon as motion is detected.
The Xiaomi Smart Maoyan 2 connects to the Xiaomi Mijia app thanks to its smart connectivity features, allowing users to start video calls with visitors and use the voice changing feature to hide their voice during a conversation. Xiaomi has also provided event casting and voice control in it. The doorbell can cast events to connected Xiaomi speakers and TVs, letting you see visitors in real time on the big screen.
