Xiaomi 15 Ultra officially unveiled; Colour options and camera specs revealed
Xiaomi 15 Ultra is set to launch in China on February 27, 2025. The company has showcased the flagship device on social media and revealed the colour options, and camera specifications of the device. The device will be available in three color options.
Xiaomi has confirmed that the upcoming Ultra model will feature a 200 MP Samsung ISOCELL HP9 telephoto lens, which measures 1/1.4″ and is designed to offer clear zoom to 200 mm and even 400 mm.
The device has a a specially designed 24-layer ultra-low reflection glass that will help in reducing the glare that presents a significant challenge for long telephoto cameras. This glass features a unique coating that reduces reflectivity to only 1.5%.
The special glass covers the entire camera island to enhance light transmission and boost low-light photography. Additionally, the coating serves as a protective layer, ensuring 82% improved resistance against scratches.
We learned that the main shooter will again feature a 1″-type sensor, which isn’t surprising, as this has been a key characteristic since the launch of the 12S Ultra nearly three years ago.
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is set to launch in China on February 27. A global debut will follow on March 2 at MWC Barcelona. We’ll naturally report with the full details once they are available.
