Woman kills two children, hangs herself after husband expresses inability to buy new clothes for festival

Nagarkurnool: A major tragedy occurred due to the inability of an observer at Peddavagu base camp to buy new clothes for his wife and children after his wife gave birth to two children before leaving on Thursday night, police said. Chinna Bayana, who works as a monitoring staff at the Peddavagu base camp, told his wife Nagamma that he cannot buy clothes for her and their children as he has not received his salary for the last four months. According to reports, this led to an argument between the man and his wife, after which this statement was given. In a fit of rage, Nagamma strangled her two sons: Byanna (3) and Yadamma (1) and ran away, even as Byanna went to Mannanuru to buy clothes. There was mourning in the village due to the death of three people. Police investigation is ongoing.
