Woman kills man who was following her, was upset with his antics

Janjgir-Champa. In the district, a woman killed a man by beating him with a stick. She said that he had bad intentions towards me. That’s why I beat him with a stick. The seriously injured man died during treatment. Police have arrested the accused woman. The case is of Saragaon police station area.

According to the information, on the afternoon of October 14, Parasram Suryavanshi (deceased) of the same village had gone to the Nagar Panchayat office to get information about his Pradhan Mantri Awas. With bad intentions, he used to repeatedly visit the house of the woman Savitri Bai Rohidas (47) and harass her.

Fed up with this, he attacked Parasram Suryavanshi on the head with a stick several times and injured him. After that, at around 2 o’clock, he dragged him out of his house and left him on the road leading to the Nagar Panchayat. On getting information about the incident, the family admitted him to BDM Hospital Champa. When his condition became critical, he was referred to Bilaspur for better treatment. During this time, after 10 days of treatment, he died on 24 October. Bilaspur police registered a case and when the case diary reached Saragaon police station, investigation was started under section 194 BNS. Police investigated the crime scene and took statements from the people around. Then Savitri was found.

After this, on December 1, the police took Savitri Bai Rohidas into custody and questioned her in the case. Then she confessed to beating him. Police has also recovered the stick used in the incident. The accused woman Savitri Bai has been arrested and sent on judicial remand.
