Nawada: A case of murder of a woman has come to light in Nawada, Bihar, in which the miscreants riding in a car have carried out this incident by firing bullets indiscriminately. The police, who reached the spot, have sent the body to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. After this incident of murder, the Nawada police has lost sleep. According to the information, this incident took place last night near Udasa village of Mufassil police station area. From where the woman was going home with her brother-in-law on a bike. On the way, the miscreants riding in a car fired bullets at them indiscriminately. The woman’s brother-in-law somehow escaped from there, but the woman died on the spot.
The deceased has been identified as Mamta Kumari, wife of late Vivekananda Prasad, a resident of Daulatpur village of Warisaliganj police station area. Regarding the incident, the family members said that there was already a quarrel and land dispute in the family. Regarding the same, the deceased’s husband was shot dead in the year 2018. At that time, the criminals shot 18 bullets at her. Mamta was to testify in the court on July 3 in this case, but before the testimony, the criminals killed the woman. In this case, police station in-charge Vijay Kumar said that this murder has been committed over an old dispute. The police is investigating this case seriously.
