Woman doctor beaten up, accused also tore clothes

Mumbai: A minor boy along with three women attacked a woman doctor after a dispute over parking of a two-wheeler in Mankhurd area on Saturday. As soon as the incident was reported, the police registered a case and started investigating the matter.

Police said that in the afternoon, a woman doctor and a minor boy got into an argument over parking a two-wheeler. The argument between the two escalated so much that the doctor slapped the minor boy. After this, the boy called his relatives for his help.

According to the police, after the dispute, three women reached the spot and beat up the doctor using an umbrella. They also tore her clothes, while the boy threatened the woman doctor. A police officer said that initial investigation into the case revealed that the accused included three women and a minor boy. However, no one has been arrested yet. The accused women have been identified as Kajal Ramaswami and Arun Ingle, while another woman is also involved. Legal action will be taken against everyone.
