Ranchi: The effect of monsoon has been visible in Jharkhand continuously for the last few days, with the arrival of monsoon, the danger of uneven arrival in Jharkhand has also increased. On one hand people got respite from the heat due to the arrival of monsoon and on the other hand people are losing their lives due to lightning in the state. A total of 27 people have died due to lightning in the entire state within two days i.e. on 20 and 21 June. On Tuesday, 16 people died in lightning incidents in different parts of the state, while 11 people died on Wednesday. While many people have also been injured.
Know how many people have died so far
On Wednesday, June 21, a total of 11 people have died due to lightning from different districts of Jharkhand. In which Rajo Devi, resident of Balumath of Latehar has died. Along with this, Aman Kumar (10 years) died due to explosion in Dadi village of Simariya block of Chatra, Sunny Kumar, son of Sitaram Ravani, resident of Shahrjam village, died due to lightning in Itkhori. He was grazing the cattle, then there was a thunderclap with rain. 53-year-old Samuel Lakda died after being struck by lightning at Thathaitangar in Simdega. Dani Sahu (52), a resident of Shyama village located in Meral police station area of Garhwa, also died due to lightning.

Let’s talk about 16 people have died in the incident of lightning in different parts of the state on Tuesday, 20th June. While many people have been injured. Seven children are among the dead. Let us inform that death has taken place in Ranchi, Hazaribagh, Lohardaga, Ramgarh, Chatra, Bokaro, Giridih, Palamu, Koderma due to lightning. The biggest incident took place at Hazaribagh Silwar Pahar. Two people died due to the collapse here, while a dozen people were injured. On the other hand, a 12-year-old girl, Simran, died due to rain in Sadia village of Mesra, Ranchi at 4:30 pm on Tuesday.
Many people’s houses were also destroyed due to lightning
The hen farm of Upendra Sahu, a resident of Sakrauli village of Sisai, was destroyed due to strong storm and rain. There has been a loss of 70 thousand rupees in this. In Lohardaga, the rains accompanied by strong winds for the last two days wreaked havoc on the poor. The asbestos in the houses of many people in Kisco and Senha block areas has been damaged due to the storm. Tiling and asbestos houses of Baldev Lohra, resident of Chorgai, Kisco, Rohit Oraon, Tari Oraon, resident of Daranga Toli, all four Oraon of Senha Yadav Mohalla, Jagarnath Oraon and many others were damaged.
Orange alert issued regarding lightning
Orange alert has been issued by the Meteorological Department for the next few days, especially regarding thunderstorms. A special warning has also been given to the people regarding this. If there is a possibility of rain and thunderclap, then there is a need to avoid staying in open places including trees, dilapidated buildings.
