‘Why did Modi come to Wayanad?’ The Centre is politicising even the disaster: Priyanka Gandhi

KALPETTA: UDF candidate Priyanka Gandhi on Monday strongly criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Central Government during her election campaign in Wayanad. She said that people of the country are facing all kinds of hardship under the BJP government’s rule at the Centre.

“Fear and hatred are being nurtured among various communities. Minorities are being constantly attacked. We know what is happening in Manipur. Constitutional values are being repeatedly undermined. Policies in the country are being implemented to benefit the Prime Minister’s friends,” Priyanka said.”The central government has yet to declare the Wayanad disaster a national disaster or allocate funds for it. Then why did Narendra Modi visit Wayanad to meet with the disaster-affected? The central government’s stance on politicizing even a disaster is truly shameful,” she said.Priyanka participated in election campaign programs in Meenangadi, Panamaram and Pozhuthana on Monday.
