Ramanujganj. Once again an incident that shames humanity has come to light in Ramanujganj police station area. A case of rape of a 13-year-old minor has come to light here. The accused carried out this heinous act by threatening to kill the victim.
The incident came to light when the family came to know that the minor was pregnant. After this, they immediately lodged a complaint with the police. As soon as the complaint was received, the police took immediate action and arrested the accused.
Police officials said that the victim’s statement has been recorded and she has been sent for medical examination. At the same time, a case has been registered against the accused under serious sections of POCSO Act and rape. At present, interrogation of the accused is going on and a detailed investigation of the case is being done.
