New Delhi: If you want to convince others about something, then the best way is to first apply it to yourself. Prime Minister Modi presented one such example during a program on Saturday. PM Modi was seen sharing the stage with CJI DY Chandrachud at the National Conference of District Judiciary of the Supreme Court in Delhi. During this program, PM Modi removed the ribbon from a booklet, but did not throw it away, but kept it in his pocket.
The video of PM Modi keeping the ribbon in his pocket is going viral on social media. In this video, PM Modi and CJI Chandrachud are seen standing on the stage. Both have a booklet in their hands. This booklet was wrapped with a ribbon. When PM Modi removed the ribbon from the booklet, the CJI moved a little forward to catch it. He was trying to take this ribbon from PM Modi’s hands, because there was no dustbin to throw it there. CJI Chandrachud also tried to take the ribbon from PM Modi, but PM Modi did not give the ribbon to CJI. PM Modi kept this ribbon in his pocket.”
Prime Minister Modi has been running the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan across the country for years. During this, he was also seen sweeping public places many times. By doing this, PM Modi has been giving the message to the people that it is our responsibility to keep our neighborhood clean. And for this, if we have to pick up the broom ourselves, then we should not hesitate. PM Modi was seen giving the same message in the program of the Supreme Court.
In this program, PM Modi said that the people of India never distrusted the Supreme Court, the judiciary. Therefore, these 75 years of the Supreme Court further increase the pride of India as the Mother of Democracy. 75 years of the Supreme Court… this is not just the journey of an institution. This is the journey of the Constitution of India and constitutional values. This is the journey of India becoming more mature as a democracy.
