Durg. Kotwali police has arrested 4 accused in the case of fatal attack on a grandmother and grandson in the district. The only reason for the attack was that the grandson had forbidden the accused from parking the car. A crime has been registered against 4 accused under the section of murderous assault and assault. Actually, Kamal Deshmukh (27 years), living near Bandha Pond under Kotwali police station area, was distributing Bhandara near the Shiv Temple located at Naya Para Chowk on the night of March 8 Mahashivratri. During this time the accused had also reached there. The accused had parked the car at Bhandara place, on which Kamal asked them to remove the car.
There was a dispute between the two on this, but after the matter was calmed down, everyone went to their homes. It is being told that the accused had earlier also had a dispute regarding some love affair, after which the accused were harboring a grudge in their mind. After reaching home, Kamal went to sleep. Then Dharmendra Sahu, Devendra Sahu, Mukesh Sahu and Lakesh Sahu reached his house and abused him and called him out of the house. Then all four attacked him fatally with knives etc.
In-charge Sub Inspector Khagendra Pathare said that after the information, Kotwali police reached the spot and took the injured to the hospital. At present both are undergoing treatment. After searching and arresting all four accused, they have been sent to jail in judicial custody.
