WhatsApp releasing new feature on Windows Beta

San Francisco (IANS)| Meta-owned messaging platform WhatsApp is rolling out a feature on Windows Beta that will disable multiple replies within polls.

As Wabateinfo reports, a new option is available within the poll creator that allows users to force other people to choose only one answer.

As respondents are forced to choose the option they most strongly believe in, this new feature will result in more accurate polling.

Also, this feature can be especially helpful for questions that only require a single response as the poll will be more relevant.

Some WhatsApp beta testers have already received this functionality for Android and iOS.

The report states that the ability to disable multiple replies within a poll is currently available to some beta testers who install the latest WhatsApp beta for Windows Update available on the Microsoft Store and will be rolled out to more users in the coming days. Expected to be released.

Meanwhile, last month, it was reported that the messaging platform is rolling out a new ‘multi-selection’ feature for Messages on Windows Beta.

With the new feature, users can select multiple messages after clicking ‘Select’ in the context menu of the conversation. Also, they can click anywhere in the conversation and then a ‘Select Messages’ option will appear.
