Bengal Occidental has received Rs 5.488.88 million as payment in addition to refund of taxes from the Centre.

The government said, this is equal to the tax refund quota that the states will get on January 10, 2024.
The Center distributes tax refund funds in 14 annual quotas.
In the last allocation, Uttar Pradesh had got the largest share with Rs 13088.51 crore.
