Just as Modi’s guarantee means a guarantee of fulfillment of the guarantee, in the same way we will fulfill every promise of the Atal Vishwas Patra, this is our guarantee. Therefore, a triple engine government has to be formed in all the urban bodies of the state including Korba. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said this while addressing a huge public meeting organized at the Ghantaghar ground of Energy City Korba. Starting his urban body election campaign, he appealed to the public to make the mayor candidate of Municipal Corporation Korba Sanju Devi Rajput and the BJP candidates for the post of councilor of all 67 wards win with a huge number of votes for the all-round and uninterrupted development of Korba city.
CM Sai said that the people living in urban bodies by building houses on Nazul land for many generations have to be made the owners of their land, for this a new law will be brought. In the coming time, more than three lakh PM houses will be built in urban areas. Those living in urban areas, who pay electricity bills and property tax on time, will also get the benefit of PM housing, those with monthly income of 15 thousand, 5 acres of irrigated and 2.5 acres of non-irrigated land and two-wheelers will get PM housing. 25 percent discount will be given in property tax in the name of women and those who pay before the 7th will get an additional discount of 10 percent. Pink toilets will be built in every market coming under urban bodies to honor mothers and sisters. Our government will fulfill all these promises of Atal Vishwas Patra.
Giving good news to the farmers of the state, Shri Sai said that this year our government has broken all the previous records of paddy purchase and has purchased 149.25 lakh metric tons of paddy. More than 25.49 lakh farmers have sold paddy. Within two to three days, the difference amount of paddy will be released to all 25.49 farmers who sold paddy. The amount will reach their accounts directly.
Mr Sai said that it is his good fortune that he is starting the campaign for the urban body elections from Korba. Whenever he comes to Korba, the energy city, a new energy flows in his body. In the last thirteen months, we have given an amount of four hundred crores for development works in the Korba Corporation area. He thanked the voters of the ward for electing BJP councilor candidate Narendra Devangan unopposed in ward number 18 of Korba Corporation. He said that the urban body elections have started very well for the BJP, so far 30 BJP councilors have been elected unopposed in different urban bodies of the state. BJP’s Nagar Panchayat President has been elected unopposed in Basna. Our party will get unprecedented success in the urban body and three-tier panchayat elections in the future too.
Attacking the Congress, CM Sai said that there was corruption everywhere in Chhattisgarh during the Congress government. Liquor, coal, sand, DMF, Mahadev App scam, all this was done by the Congress. The future of the youth of Chhattisgarh was ruined, an institution like PSC was defamed. Due to which the public lost faith in the Congress government. Today, CBI is investigating the PSC scam, whose culprits are in jail, they are not getting bail. Coal and liquor scamsters are also in jail. On the liquor scam, he said that only the pawns have gone inside, the former tribal minister is in jail in the liquor scam, its main culprits will also be in jail.
Vishnu Dev Sai said that as soon as the BJP government was formed in the state, we have done so much work in just 13 months, due to which the trust of 3 crore Chhattisgarhis has increased on our BJP government. All the promises of Modi’s guarantee have been fulfilled. Approval of PM housing for 18 lakh families, price of farmers’ paddy Rs 3100 per quintal, purchase of 21 quintals of paddy per acre, two years’ pending bonus to farmers, benefit of 70 lakh mothers and sisters Mahtari Vandan Yojana, price of tendu leaves Rs 5500 per standard sack, all this has been done by his government. He said that till now more than 20 thousand devotees have got the benefit of darshan of Ayodhya and Kashi Vishwanath under Shri Ramlala Darshan Yojana and ten thousand rupees are given every year to 5.62 lakh landless agricultural labourers of the state under Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Landless Agricultural Labourer Scheme. Cabinet minister Lakhanlal Devangan, Katghora MLA Premchand Patel, mayor candidate Sanjudevi Rajput, former MP Lakhanlal Sahu, former MLA Rajneesh Singh, state minister Vikas Mahato, Harshita Pandey, former mayor Jogesh Lamba, district president Manoj Sharma, Rajiv Singh along with other senior leaders, office bearers and workers were present in the election meeting.
