Tamil Nadu: DMDK General Secretary Premalatha Vijayakanth has stressed that the central government must ensure the safety of Tamils.
A government statement issued on Sunday said: “Given the tense situation in Middle Eastern countries, including the United Arab Emirates, all Indians and Tamil Nadu residents living and working there must be safe.”
She said the central government must ensure the safety of Tamils living there and take necessary and appropriate steps immediately.
