WBJEE 2024: Online counselling process, documents and fees details, The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations entrance examinations board (WBJEEB) has released a notification for WBJEE counselling 2024. Students who have secured ranks in the Joint Entrance Examination or Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 held in the state can register for WBJEE counselling through wbjeeb.nic.in. The WBJEE 2024 results were declared on June 6 and a total of 1,12,963 students qualified for the exam this year. WBJEE 2024 counselling will be conducted in three stages: allotment, correction and clearing. All processes including registration, preference selection, allotment and payment of seat acceptance fee will be completed online using a centralised system. Candidates will be allotted seats as per the seat matrix and the list of participating universities available on the official website. Candidates will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 500 for the allotment round. An additional fee of Rs 200 will have to be paid for the cleaning round.

Documents required for WBJEE 2024 counselling –
–– To verify your date of birth, provide Class 10 admit card or birth certificate.
––Mark sheet for Class 10
––Mark sheet for Class 12
–– Candidates from West Bengal must have domicile certificate.
–– Provide category certificate or Person with Disability (PWD) certificate, if applicable.
–Income certificate for Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) rank holders.

Candidates have to carefully select their preference during the selection process and will be given an opportunity to move forward if their first selection is not allotted. The result of the first round of allotment will be declared after the seats are blocked. Students seeking admission will have to pay Rs 5,000 as a seat acceptance fee to secure their preferred seat or be considered for an upgrade. Non-payment of the fee will result in cancellation of the post allotted to the candidate and he/she will not be considered for future rounds. The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination is conducted annually for candidates seeking admission to undergraduate engineering, pharmacy and architecture programmes in various universities, colleges and government institutions in West Bengal. The WBJEE exam was held on April 28 in pencil and paper format at various venues in the state. Test 1 (Mathematics) was held from 11 am to 1 pm, followed by Test 2 (Physics and Chemistry) from 2 pm to 4 pm.
