Mahasamund. MP Roopkumari Chaudhary, MLA Yogeshwar Raju Sinha and special guests inaugurated the 72nd branch of District Cooperative Central Bank Raipur in Mungaser village of Bagbahara development block of the district on Sunday by cutting the ribbon and worshipping the vault. During this, District Panchayat member Alka Chandrakar, Janpad Panchayat President Smita Chandrakar, CEO of the bank Apeksha Vyas, public representatives and farmers were present.
Addressing on the occasion of the inauguration of the bank, MP and chief guest Roopkumari Chaudhary said that now the farmers of the area will not have to go to Komakhan for their bank related work and to get the payment of paddy. In view of the problems of you people, the state government has started a bank branch here. He said that the government of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai is determined for the development of the village. He told that the branch has been inaugurated here today. It will also open in Sirpur and Garhfuljhar in the same month. He said that Chhattisgarh government is committed for the development of youth and women apart from farmers. MP Chaudhary said that Cooperative Minister Kedar Kashyap could not attend the event due to his Telangana visit. But he congratulated the people of the area and wished them well. On this occasion, he announced Rs 5 lakh for the construction of a shed in front of the building.
Mahasamund MLA Yogeshwar Raju Sinha said that Chhattisgarh government has started a bank branch here understanding the problems of farmers. He said that all the promises are being fulfilled under the good governance of Chief Minister Vishnudev. Mentioning the schemes of the state government, he said that Chhattisgarh is moving towards a developed state due to the implementation of the schemes. On this occasion, District Panchayat member Alka Chandrakar, Janpad Panchayat President Smita Chandrakar also addressed the program.
