Warangal: KU assistant, registrar caught in ACB trap for taking Rs 50,000 bribe

Warangal: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths on Friday arrested Kakatiya University assistant registrar S Kistaiya red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs. Rs 50,000 in his chamber for doing an official favour. According to ACB DSP P Sambaiah, Kistaiya was caught by ACB officials when he took a bribe of Rs 50,000 from P Rajendra of Rajendra Milk Distributors Charbouli, Warangal, for payment of pending bills. ₹ 9.24 lakh related to supply of milk and curd in Kakatiya University campus hostel mess. Kistaiya will be produced before the First Additional Special Judge, Hyderabad for SPE and ACB cases. Meanwhile, The Association of Kakatiya University Teachers (ACUT) has demanded that the government investigate the role of the people behind the irregularities going on in the university campus.
