Volkswagen India is offering great discounts on its products for the month of August 2024. The company offers three products in India and this includes Taigun, Virtus and Tiguan. Benefits on the cars include cash discounts, exchange benefits as well as loyalty bonuses. The discount on the cars is expected to increase the overall sales.

Volkswagen Taigun
The Volkswagen Taigun gets a discount of up to Rs 2.28 lakh on certain variants. The compact SUV is available in 1.5-litre TSI engine and 1.0-litre TSI only. The company is offering discounts up to Rs 1.2 lakh on the 1.0-litre TSI version and up to Rs 1.87 lakh in the 1.5 TSI models. As the cash discount is implemented, the entry-level Taigun will cost Rs 10.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
Volkswagen Virtus
The Volkswagen Virtus is something that you can opt for if you are not interested in the Honda City or the Hyundai Verna sedans. The maximum discount is available on the mid-spec 1.0 TSI Highline AT variant. On the other hand, the 1.5 TSI Virtus gets up to Rs 70,000 in terms of total benefits.
The Virtus, as well as Taigun, get the same 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engines. There is the presence of manual and automatic gearbox options in the car. After the cash discount, the Virtus costs Rs 10.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
Volkswagen Tiguan
The most premium SUV offered by the manufacturer in the Indian market is the Volkswagen Tiguan. The SUV gets up to Rs 1.5 lakh off for the models that are made in 2023. On the other hand, the MY2024 Tiguans get benefits up to Rs 1.25 lakh for the month. The VW Tiguan gets a single 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that gets 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The SUV gets VW’s 4Motion AWD technology. The price of the five-seater SUV is Rs 35.17 lakh.
