Vodafone Idea prepaid recharge plans offering truly unlimited data
Vodafone Idea Limited (VIL) now offers truly unlimited data on several of its prepaid plans. Truly unlimited data means, you don’t have to worry about FUP (fair usage policy) limit. There are several plans that come with truly unlimited data now. However, Vi is offering unlimited 4G.
However, these plans are not available in every circle. It seems the company is testing it out in some select circles including Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh. These plans are now visible on the website and the mobile app of the telco.
If successful,. these plans might be offered in other circles as well.
Vi Truly Unlimited Data 4G Prepaid Plans
While Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel are offering unlimited 5G, Vi is offering unlimited 4G. The plans listed with no FUP limit on Vi’s website or mobile app are Rs 365, Rs 379, Rs 407, Rs 449, Rs 408, Rs 469, Rs 649, Rs 979, Rs 994, Rs 996, Rs 997, Rs 998, and Rs 1198 plans. These plans will let you use unlimited data. This may vary from circle to circle depending on Vi’s strategy.
Vi has listed the Rs 365 unlimited plan with the description “Get Full Day Unlimited Data, Everyday + 100 SMS/Day + Unlimited Calls valid for 28 Days.”
These are not new plans, but the added benefit of unlimited data is new. This is still a fresh update from Vi and the company has yet to make any official announcement on the same.
Meanwhile, While Vi is strengthening its presence with more 4G network coverage and capacity, it is also planning to launch 5G soon.
