Vizag salon offers free haircut on voting

Visakhapatnam: A private salon owner in Visakhapatnam is offering free haircuts to those who vote on May 13.

Malluvalasa Radhakrishna said that many people come to his salon for haircuts. When he asked them about voting, many people replied that they would take a day off and rest.
The salon owner said that to change this mentality, he has thought of making an open offer.
Radhakrishna said, “On May 13, anyone who shows an inked finger will get a free haircut at our salon. This is our way of asking people afresh to support democracy.”
He expressed hope that his small initiative would go a long way in increasing the voting percentage. “Every vote counts. I want to play my part in encouraging people to exercise their right to vote,” said the RK Smart Salon owner.
