Business Business: Vivo V40 series release date confirmed. As part of the upcoming series, two models will be launched in India, Vivo V40 and V40 Pro. Much more information including camera details of the upcoming series has been released on Flipkart. The series will be available for sale on Flipkart after launch. Vivo V40 and V40 Pro have a circular camera module. Triple camera will be available on the rear. It has a 50MP ZEISS wide-angle lens, 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, Sony IMX921 primary sensor and 50MP OIS telephoto lens. There is a 50 MP camera for selfies and video calls. The telephoto lens of the phone supports 2x optical zoom and hyperzoom.
Both the phones in the series are IP68 rated for water and dust protection. It can be immersed in water up to a depth of one and a half meters for 30 minutes. This smartphone will be equipped with a 5500 mAh battery with 80W flash charging support. The series features a slim design and extremely durable build.
The smartphone may feature a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 4,500 nits peak brightness. Under the hood, the V40 could be powered by a 4nm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. It is expected to run on Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14. For connectivity, the device may feature Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and a USB Type-C port for charging. Additionally, the screen may also feature a fingerprint scanner and IP68 protection.
