Virat Kohli crossed that milestone faster than Sachin Tendulkar

Bangalore: Indian batting star Virat Kohli has created a new record. Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar has surpassed him. Kohli has set a record as the fastest cricketer to score 16,000 runs in List A ODI cricket. Virat reached that milestone in just his 330th innings. Kohli, who is playing in the Vijay Hazara Trophy ODI tournament, hit a half-century in the match against Andhra today. In the process, he crossed the milestone of 16,000 runs in List A cricket.

Tendulkar had previously achieved that score in 391 innings. Kohli scored runs at a fast pace on the ground being held at the BCCI Centre of Excellence Ground in Bangalore. Kohli is playing in the Vijay Hazare Tournament after about 15 years. Kohli has a good record in the Vijay Hazare Trophy in the past. He scored 819 runs in 13 matches at an average of 68. These included four centuries and three fifties.

It is known that Kohli has retired from Test and T20 cricket. However, it seems that Kohli is looking forward to the ODI series against the Kiwis starting January 11.
