Instructions have been issued by the DGP to take necessary action against the debauched youths who consume alcohol and other intoxicants sitting on the banks of the Ganges, usually by driving towards Uttarakhand late on Friday night. In fact, as soon as summer starts in Uttarakhand, the tourism season has started. These days many tourists from all over the country are visiting Char Dham Yatra and other religious and tourist places and observing the hilly and natural scenes there. But during this time some tourists are not even missing out on showing the dignity of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand.
That is, debauched youth openly consume alcohol and other intoxicants sitting at pilgrimage sites and on the banks of the Ganges. Now DGP Ashok Kumar has given instructions to take action against such corrupt people, due to which Operation Maryada has been started by Uttarakhand Police. Under which action is being taken against all such people who create ruckus at tourist places and pilgrimage places after consuming alcohol and other intoxicants. Uttarakhand Police has now appealed to the common people that if they also see any person doing this type of act, then immediately call 112 and inform the police about the matter. The police will immediately reach the spot and take action against such miscreants.
